evil & darkness
That's where I first developed an interest in jewelry making. I made a few guerilla crucifix necklaces and some bracelets for myself, and some things for a girlfriend. Don't tell anyone this stuff...shhh
If you get a chance, I'd love it if you dropped by my page and let me know what you think of some of my recent works. I've kind of shifted gears from photomanip into photography, as of late.

So you've shifted gears too? I guess it's something we all have to do at some point. I know I've spent more time with pliers than I have with pencils lately. I'll have to wait until I get back to work and hop on the highspeed before I can thoroughly check out your recent work. DA and dial-up don't mix at all. But from what I saw on your front page -- man. I'm not all that attracted to photography, but your pieces really made me stop and look. I love "Superman." There's just something otherworldly about it. It's like you've taken the richness and texture from your photomanips and transplanted them into the photographs. I'd sit back and exclaim, "Jeez man, how do you do it?" but I'll settle for artistic magic as an explanation. I like the spell, and I don't want to break it.
Oh, and as for how I got started: I took a jewelry class back in 2003 where we had one beading project. I loved it but I didn't go anywhere with it afterwards. Then out of the blue I decided to start again back in January of this year (one of my co-workers gave me a huge stack of beading magazines, so that might have had something to do with kickstarting it all). Now it's like crack. Shiny, sparkly, expensive crack.
I don't do rings though. I'm not into metalworking because I'm afraid of fire and sharp, dismembering cutting implements.
